Megavia Corporation is now firmly established as the exclusive distributor of Philip Morris Philippines Manufacturing Incorporated’s (PMPMI) premium cigarette brands in the Philippines spanning North National Capital Region, Western Visayas and Southern Mindanao. PMPMI acclaimed Megavia - North National Capital Region as "2008 Distributor of the Year."
As PMPMI’s largest distributor in the country, Megavia accounts for 35% of total Philip Morris sales. The subsidiary formally started operations in January 2003.
Three regional bases of distribution:
North National Capital Region – supplies Philip Morris products in Northern Metro Manila, Bulacan, and the Province of Rizal. Its sales force is composed of 28 sales teams and 28 vans servicing 5,600 stores. SKUs carried: 25
- Western Visayas – distributes Philip Morris products in Negros and Panay Islands (including Siquijor and Guimaras). Its sales force consists of 21 sales teams and 21 vans covering 4,372 stores. SKUs carried: 25
- Southern Mindanao – the main source of cigarettes for the provinces of Davao and Cotabato. It has 51 sales teams and a fleet of 51 vans managing 22,256 stores. SKUs carried: 25
