Chairman of the Board

Ber has over 30 years of Senior Management experience. He was previously President of La Tondeña Distillers, Inc. (now Ginebra San Miguel, Inc.), a subsidiary of San Miguel Corporation, where Ber was also a member of the Board of Directors. San Miguel is Southeast Asia’s largest publicly listed food, beverage and packaging company in the Philippines.

 

Julio D. Sy, Jr.
President

The founder of TAO Corporation. Jun has over 20 years of senior management and entrepreneurial experience. He serves as President and CEO, and Chairman of the Corporation’s subsidiaries.

 

Antonio I. Panajon
Senior Advisor &
Member of the Board of Directors

Tony has over 30 years of senior executive experience in the beverage (soft drinks) industry. He was previously President of Pepsi Cola Products Philippines, Inc. and Cosmos Bottling Corporation. Tony is also a founding shareholder and director of Asiawide Refreshments Corp. (ARC), the local bottler of Royal Crown Cola in the country. He is currently President and CEO of ARC.

 

Lani M. Chua
Corporate Affairs  Director

Lani has over 25 years of extensive Sales and Marketing experience in the personal care and consumer products industry having been pivotal to the growth of household brands such as Triumph, Nike and Shiseido. She spent a good part of her career as President and COO of Mondragon International, Inc. overseeing both Retail and Direct Sales subsidiaries and was Managing Director for the licensing and merchandising subsidiary of ABS-CBN Corporation, the largest broadcasting corporation in the Philippines.

 

John Carlyle D. Quimbo
Operations Director, TAO Corporation

John is TAO Corporation’s Operations Director and  President of  Altus Communications, Inc. His professional track record spans over 20 years of management experience. He was previously connected with the San Miguel Group of Companies having  served as Finance Manager of Magnolia, Inc.

 

Amado T. Tadena
Senior Advisor on Healthcare
Member of the Board

Lito has over 30 years of extensive experience in the local and international pharmaceutical industries. He has recently ended his post as Chairman for GlaxoSmithKline Philippines and Singapore. Lito  sits as Board Member of TAO Corporation and serves in the Management Committee as Senior Advisor.  He is currently Chairman and CEO of the New Marketlink Pharmaceutical Corporation and its subsidiary, Chiral Pharma Corporation.

 

Joel C. Lopa
President, Commodity Trading

Joel has been a sugar expert all his professional life having held top posts in leading sugar companies in the country. He was Resident Manager of Central Azucarera de Tarlac, a Board Member of the Sugar Regulatory Administration (SRA), and served as President of the Confederation of Sugar Producers, Inc. (Confed) and Philippine Sugar Technologies Association, Inc. (Philsutech). Joel was also Chairman of the Board of Philippine Sugar Research Institute Foundation, Inc. (Philsurin).

 

Cristine D. One of the pioneers of the TAO Community, Cristine started at Distilleria Bago, Inc. handling accounting and moved on to TAO Commodity Trader, Inc. as Finance Manager.  She has 16 years of experience in Finance.
